Acupuncture

I am qualified in Western Medical Acupuncture. This is the insertion of fine needles through the skin into various parts of the body to treat a wide range of conditions.  WMA differs from Traditional Chinese Acupuncture in its approach to where you are putting your needle and why; considering anatomy, biochemistry and neurophysiology.  WMA is most commonly used to treat pain whether that is musculoskeletal or arising from a body compartment eg headache or abdominal pain.  It is also used for a variety of other conditions e.g. stress, anxiety, infertility etc.
